Submission Streams
The Conference Programme Committee welcomes papers from a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives, and submissions are organised into the streams and sub-streams listed below:

General guidelines for abstract submission:
- An abstract is a summary of a research paper or clinical work.
- It should be one paragraph with a word limit of 300 in English.
- Keywords should be provided as a must (around 5 words).
- Keywords should be written in lowercase letters (Not applicable to names/scientific names) and should be separated with commas.
- Please do not include subheadings, bullets, lists and header/footer in the abstract.
- Acronyms should be written in full the first time, mentioned in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
- There shall be no citations or references in the abstract specifically. If there is a need to cite references, please provide the sources in brackets.
- The abstract should be submitted online.
- For symposium, please submit your abstract in the format of MS Word (.doc or .docx) to ciebpr@hksyu.edu. Please refer to the formatting details below.
Symposium Formatting Details
FONT
- Title: Times New Roman, 12 points, Upper case, Centered text in bold
- Body: Times New Roman, 11 points; Line spacing: 1, one column of text
AFFILIATIONS
- Affiliations should be indicated with superscript Arabic numbers appearing at the end of surname/family name.
- Names of affiliations should be given including the country. Eg:-
- Surname INITIALS 1 , Surname INITIALS 1* and Surname INITIALS 2
- Department, Faculty, University, Country
- Department, Institute, Country
- author@gmail.com ( Email address of the corresponding author)
- Upon confirmation of abstract acceptance, the presenting author must register for the Congress. All presentations are expected to be delivered in person.
Guidelines for Poster/Short Oral Presentation:
- Each participant can submit a maximum of two abstracts as a presenter/first author. There is no limit on the number of abstract submissions allowed for oral presentations as a non-presenting co-author or for posters as a co-author.
Guidelines for Symposium/Roundtable Discussion:
- A symposium is a format for delivering a series of spoken presentations that focus on a common topic.
- Each symposium/roundtable discussion must be organised and submitted by a designated person, referred to as the Symposium Chair/Roundtable Discussion Moderator.
- The Symposium Chair/Roundtable Discussion Moderator may serve in one of the following roles or role combinations:
- Chair/Moderator only; or
- Chair and Presenter (for Symposium); or
- Moderator and Panelist (for Roundtable Discussion)
- Each symposium/roundtable discussion must include at least 4 presenters/panelists and a Chair/ Moderator, preferably from at least 2 institution or organisation from different regions.
- Submissions for symposiamust include an abstract for each presenter.
- A total of 90 minutes will be allocated for each symposium/roundtable discussion.
- Each chair/moderator can only hold ONE symposium/roundtable discussion.
About the reviewing process
- Your abstract will undergo a double-blind peer review by the Conference Paper Peer Review committee.
- Acceptance or rejections of abstract will be sent to you generally within 4 weeks of submission.
The Use of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies
HRCONF2026 follows Elsevier’s AI author policy for use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in writing. Authors are allowed to use generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process before submission, but only to improve the language and readability of their paper and with the appropriate disclosure. This does not apply to the use of basic tools for checking grammar, spelling, references etc.
